Genesis Question

I was at eh hobby store today and bought a Athearn Genesis SD-70MAC loco.
I do believe it"sa second generation beacause it has a plase to plug in a decoder. At lest that how i was told it was.

I installed a NCE D15SR decoder in it. It just plug right in. I am wondering if I can make the ditch light wig wag (im not shure in the proper term). It seem that they both run on the same output O3. I tried changing output 04 and it did nothing. If there is a way to do this I would like to know.

I also would like to know if I can buy a tsunami sound decoder for it and what would the numder be or somewhere I can get the info I need.

Read the top of page 4 of the decoder documentation, where it tells you how to set up the ditch light effect. You will probably need to connect the ditch light wires to a different location on the decoder than where they are now, however. This is also explained in the decoder installation instructions.

And be aware that the only time ditch lights alternate brightness is when the horn is being blown or the bell is being rung.

thanks
I’m going to have to change some wires to get them to flash seperatly.
