Not much description about the layout either. I hope it was a type because there is no way he will sell that for $25K! Maybe when hell freezes over!
if he is selling that much rolling stock and locomotives, i think he could make more by selling each piece individually. Someone should ask him to post more pictures.
$25,000.00!!!
Proud of it, ain’t he!
Notice one of his eBay feedbacks:
"Paid wrong amount, sent rude e-mail,left negative feedback for no good reason!!!

Imagine calling him stuiped! That’s ruded!
Well. He is going to get stuck with a hefty fee for pricing at 25 K.
Ebay charges twice. Your starting price fee and your final winning bid fee. Going to get expensive.
The only way I think of now that they can avoid it is to edit the auction not closer to 12 hours to deadline and drop the asking price to 250.00 or whatever.
He really doesn’t know what he’s doing. The second auction was posted to show more photos of what he had. What he ended up doing is auctioning the same layout twice. [%-)]
His feedback has a couple of wierd things on it too.
You’re assuming it will be sold? Probably just the listing fee will be charged. Of course if he had the smarts he’d just abandon his eBay ID.
I don’t think he’s that smart!
That is my add on ebay, I made a typ err and cant figure out how to correct it.
They dont have an email address that I can find either.
I dont appreciate the snide comments. I am just trying to sell it for $250.
I am getting divorced and need some cash.
Use the HELP link at the top of any ebay page. Be sure to have your auction numbers handy…
Good luck.
gil Finn,
Sorry to hear about the turmoil. I haven’t used e-bay in a while but you can edit your e-bay posts - I can’t remember how to do it.
Just ingnore the snide comments - it’s not worth your time.
Good luck
I hope you are able to stick with the hobby after everything is “done”. Good luck with your auction. You should be able to edit your auction. I believe that if you bring up the auction while you are logged in, there should be an edit link.
“revise your item”, appears in the blue box at the top of the listing for sellers (when logged in)…
I’ll give you $20 for your G scale two truck Shay if you throw in ten pounds of cooked ribs. [;)]
Then I take back what I said earlier. $250 is a good price with all the cars and engines. Maybe add to the auction how many engines and cars there are?

I’m curious why you have it re-listed with a starting bid of $10,000 and a Buy It Now
price of $15,000. If you only want $250 for the lot, why would you make the mistake twice?
Dave
I smell…fish. Something very fishy.
Ya sure… Maybe for 15 to 20 brass locomotives…no one is going to buy that…some one needs to tell the guy.
James
“here are more pics of my train set sequeal to my train set i put on ebay same set just more pics”
And the first $25K auction is still up!
