Is the Glendale Model Railroad Club is a all-Southern Pacific layout operations.

Although their scenery models the Southern Pacific between L.A. and Bakersfield, I’ve seen other railroads operating on the layout when I’ve visited. The last I heard, they are in the process of planning an all new layout and going DCC. Here is a link to their website

Hello, I am a member of the GMRRC and indeed the layout was heavily SP centric but presently we have numerous road names appearing on the layout due to our varied membership. We still have a strong SP as well as SF contingent but we welcome all, and members are welcome to run any train on the layout that meets operating specs.

We are having one of our bi-annual Open Houses this weekend so if you have the time stop by and see for yourself.
