That was the phrase for a Schlitz beer commercial.
Atlas has announced they are into beer.
As a former Baltimoron, I think I need the Natty Boh (National Bohemian) car
As far as I know, there is no explanation as to why Natty Boh only has one eye

No interest in beer. A cheese reefer?..NOW you’re talkin’ my language. [Y][:P]
What era would the 45’ pines trailer and tractor be appropriate?
It doesn’t have to be accurate. Beer billboards just trigger thoughts of fun and Festivus…I like the OldStyle and PBR trailers. And the beer can cars are a hoot.
I actually like the AtlasRR pint glass for $9.95.
While I’m not into beer reefers I know two modelers that has a rather large collection of beer reefers.
I could use MRS RBL beer boxcars since I will have a alcohol and tobacco distributor on my next Slate Creek ISL.
I’m sure the models are higher quality, but I’m happy with my Evergreen beer reefers. Sure, they are just repaints of old Athearn BB reefers, but with add-on Kadees and some Intermountain metal wheelsets, they’re fine for me.
Mine aren’t going in Trackside Photos, but they might make Weekend Photo Fun. As I said, fine for me.
Thanks for pointing this out. I saw it in the catalog and it caught my eye. Glad I got reminded.
Is beer a Family-Friendly™ topic under the current TOS? [:D]
I know I’m old when I read that ONE company has IP rights to license all those wonderful old fallen-flag brandings…
Did anyone count the number of puns in the Atlas ad? At least they resisted the ‘belly up to the bar and order yours today!’ one. (I’m sure there will be a ‘last call’ with a couple more groaners in due time…)
Natty Boh said the same thing!
Big Daddy: so you don’t believe Gunther’s got it?
I don’t, either, and something else is strange: one side of the neon sign on the former brewery has the eye on the other side, so it isn’t him looking to one side. Perhaps it is like Picasso or that character in Clue.
The Natty Boh car is cool and reminds me of growing up in the Baltimore area way back when. I was told Natty Boh had roots to the privateers and pirates in the Baltimore area back then which may be the explanation for an eye patch.
Looks like Atlas is picking up the make believe toy train line since MTH is going away.

Gunther was before my time, I remember my parents had Gunther beer glases, they were big goblets with a hollow stem, so the beer got warm if you held the glass by the stem.
I didn’t know Natty Boh was really a national beer, I liked their premium better.
I don’t see any cars that would fit my modern layout, but I’d like to add a PBR Tractor/Trailer to my layout.
Stroh’s! Spelled backwards is “Shorts!”
They forgot my favorite:
“Bear Whiz beer! It’s in the water, that’s why it’s yellow!”
Same for me. I’m a big time cheese fanatic. To quote Homer Simpson: “Mmm… Cheese…”[dinner]
Kalmbach has stymied video from some YouTube sources.

Brewed in the hometown of Shoeless Joe!
I think this is an advantage of my layout not being a prototype of any time or place or railroad.
I love beer. I’m having one right now.
I really like several of these cars. They don’t fit on my modern time railroad, but then again neither does the City of Los Angeles which runs there.
I think I may order one of the cars.
Back in high school a radio station in Sacramento KZAP used to advertise Treefrog beer. “even my hunting dog likes it”
Yeah, those cars remind me of the Train Miniature billboard-style beer reefers, which many modellers seemed to collect, whether or not they were era-appropriate for their layout.
I had a few of them, bought either “used” or on-sale, and stripped and repainted every one of them, as billboard reefers would have been outlawed by the time of my late '30s-era layout. A recent check shows only one remaining, as most were either sold or given to friends.
Here’s the lone survivor, now an express reefer…
