Good news boys my post war f3 works plus guess who bought a box of track

so i got a ton of track and 3 switches for 25$ the train engines i got tested the powered works just needs to be run the dummy does light up the man at iron spike oiled up my engines too.

i have to get a transformer so im picking up a tested and working KW on eba. along with it im getting lock ons for the track a 2 pack just in case

i noticed while i was looking on line there is a power strip peice that connects the track directly to the wall i believe its a extender incase your pack cant run the full length if im right then 1 acre will be easy to run,

i need to find a good ballast too something that will hold out im open to suggestions.

the HO is going great my sd60m is doing its job and pulling wax as it should weve pumped out 12 candles this production round and just got 2lbs of wax in bricks to continue making candles.

we lit a test candle witch burned from 3:00pm to 8:30pm so good burn time. its just waiting for flea market weather since its a outdoor flea market hopefully saturday itl be perfect conditions

i also converted my old pour tower to now be a tower for the wax pans so i can heat the pan from underneath works better that way.

we picked up a new mold to make a different type of candle ima use it on this batch and see what happens lets hope for the best

so far i think ive made 25$ worth of candles so its a start tword another SD60M ill keep you bros posted as my journey into the business side of model railroading continues

Never saw one of those before. Doesn’t sound right to me because any feeders to the rail at distant points from the primary power connection have to be wired with the same polarity as the primary. Meaning your positive and negative connections must match, which would be difficult and possibly dangerous using a secondary power supply.

I think this is the same thing Umbreon_Of_Alton asked about in a different thread here.

In that thread it seemed like this is a Menard’s DC Power brick and track lock on meant to power their engines sets. So not useful for the Post War F3.
