[swg]ARE THERE AND GOOD OGAUGE SHOPS IN THE MIAMI/WESTON, FLORIDA AREA? WE’RE GOING TO BE THERE NEXT WEEKEND AND I WANT TO EXPLORE.
I think “Ready To Roll” is located there and some folks here use them and speak well of them. I have not been there personally though. They do advertise in CTT and may have a web site.

I liked Warrick’s Hobby Super Store, 7676 Peters Road, Plantation, FL - north of Miami, east of Weston, and west of Ft. Lauderdale. It had a pretty good selection of S which I am interested in and even more O gauge.
Enjoy

Ready To Roll is located in NW section of Miami near Opa Locka on 831 NW 143rd St. Looks like a wharehouse building but it is a large model train store. They carry Z gauge to G gauge and accessories, mainly deal with MTH in O gauge and have GarGraves track & switches. Used to go there until the super high price of gas.
Warricks has more Dept. 56 buildings and accessories, also model cars.
There are a couple other hobby shops just off of I-95 in Broward County(Ft. Lauderdale area), I don’t recall any names as it has been a while since I got down to Broward County.

I have not been in Miami for several years, but Ready to Roll was great and I did quite a bit of business there. They custom painted my 2056 and tender for the Milwaukee RR and did a great job. I found them friendly and easy to work with. They had a really nice O gauge layout and I value the time I spent there.
I wish I had one in my crummy little town. There’s nothing here but walking horses!!![:(!]
