Hey Folks,
I have not been on for awhile but I thought I would drop you all a line. I have been busy planning a major renovation for a home I am buying and found a useful tool on the net. Google has released new FREE CAD design software called Sketchup. It is easy to learn and a lot of fun to play around with. I have already virtually built quite a few 3-D additions to my home (I still can’t quite fit in the 40’X20’ layout room). Being as resourceful as all you guys are I can imagine you can find a lot of uses for this program in the hobby. Just Google – Sketchup and it will take you to the homepage and download section (takes about 10 minutes on a broad band connection and a little over an hour on 56 KPS). I strongly suggest doing the 3 tutorial videos that come up after you successfully download. Well enjoy and talk to you all down the track.

P.S. FJ and G - next time you smell gas - open a window, call the gas company or 911, grab the beagle and get out! Glad to hear everything turned out okay. But it brings up a good point - with all the time you guys spend in the basement you all should have carbon monoxide detectors in the lowest point of your basement.
