Greenberg's train show This weekend

Any one going to the train show in Ft Washington Pa this weekend ill be there looking for those bargins and steals

I might be there. It might be the last time I’ll be able to see anything before they move.

Any idea as to where the Expo center is moving to? Or when?

Stop Watch please

If I’m not otherwise tied up with family-type things, I’ll be going to the show in Massachusetts the first weekend of April. (Hoping for a 5-DCC demo on Saturday the 1st.) This show has been a good one in the past - lots of vendors and operating layouts. Also, the show is just a short jog off of I-93 north of Boston, and there’s plenty of free parking.

Just for future reference, we need to get used to calling this the Great Train Expo. The name “Greenberg Shows” is going away, last I heard. I think the Great Train Expo people own the Greenberg name for only a limited period.

True, they do need to get away from the Greenburg name. After all, the last time I went to a Greenburg show I was buying dollhouse parts, and didn’t see much of trains. However, the name may cause some confusion in this neck of the woods with the Great Scale Train Shows held in Timonium MD 4 times each year.

i’ll be at the show prob. early Saturday morning. The show site only says to check back in time for the status of the August and December shows at the Fort Washington Expo.

I went to the Great Train Expo last weekend at Timonium. Great for HO, N and others. Not so good for O Gauge people. Tha great Train Expo seems to specialize in other than O gauge. Much more o at local shows .

can anyone tell me why this show is not scheduled any more in the New york area ?

they are to cheap them new yorkers
dont like to spend money

I went to the Great Train Expo in Timonium, MD on Sunday. I wanted to go on Saturday but had other family obligations. Sunday wasn’t bad but not nearly as much there as there was in January and February.

I did pick up some things I needed at good prices, but if I could have been there Saturday I’d have gotten all of what I needed according to the vendors. Several items I had on my list were there on Saturday but went within hours. Maybe next time!

Just goes to show you that the early bird gets his railroad stuff!
