Harbor trackplan

strong text
This is my first post - if I srcew it up, I promise, I’ll get better. I hope the drawing of my proposed harbor module gets posted with this text. The module will be 10’ long by 2’-7" deep. The ship, barge, and tugboat are yet to be built. I model in On30 set in the early 1950s.

I’d appreciate any critique, positive or negative about the trackplan, operation, or anything at all because I don’t have any idea if this track plan is even close to how it would be done in the real world. If you see a better way to do this, please let me know. Trains arriving here from the main layout can be head-in or back-in. The idea is to deliver finished goods to the dock for shipment out on the coastal freighter, and a few goods are received from the ship. The barges, however, will deliver goods to the dock for local distribution and consumption via the railroad and return empty.

presumably HO.

i don’t see the need for the switching lead.

may want to angle the curved mainline track more

Just my 2 centsworth from across the pond.

Make sure you can reach all the tracks for cleaning etc.. and not damage anything. Rolling stock has a habit of derailing at awkward places.
(Been there.)
