HAS ANYONE SEEN ONE???

I have been searching all over the internet trying to find a reference chart that list all the locomotives ( HO in this case ) and a cross reference to all the DCC Decoder manufacturer models. Tonys Trains comes close, but he does not list all the manufacturers.

I envision the left column listing all the locomotives, and the columns to the right listing all the various decoders that will fit into those locomotives, for motor control, sound, and both. The final column would list the various speakers that would fit in the locomotives or tender.

The spreadsheet would also include the various specs for the decoder such as max current, back emf, etc.

Lentz, Loksound, NCE, QSI, SoundTraxx, Digitrax, etc, etc.

Is there one out there???

Such a list would be huge and convoluted. For example, for sound, you have many, many choices (even when it comes to speakers). It is best just to ask if anyone has attempted an install on a partictular locomotive.

Keep in mind that the way a decoder behaves is dependent on the DCC system to an extent. Max voltage, for example, is a representative of the percentage of total track voltage. Digitrax uses 14 volts (for HO), MRC uses more and NCE uses less. So a common setting would be impossible to come up with.

There is, however, a few websites where people have done step-by-step about how to install what decoder into what loco.
