The headlights on the BLI NW2 will go on automatically when I power the layout, even if I shut them down before shutting the layout down the session before. I would like to be the one who decide if the headlights should be on or off. Maybe it is kind off a “power trip” but I don’t like to see the headlight on when I don’t operate that specific loco. I looked at the BLI Paragon 2 Operator’s Manual but didn’t find any indication about a CV that I could program to control that. Maybe I missed something.
From what I gather, FO,button, controls, headlight front and rear,on and off,CV33 controls that function, should be a value of 1…But what do I know, I use DC.[:)]
“To the best of our knowledge, there is no way to have the lights off at startup. The headlights come on automatically as soon as power is sensed, but the engine has to be addressed and lights manually turned off.”
Well thats just weird. Then why does my BLI 4-8-2 Paragon 2, when I power my system on the lights are off. Unless I address the loco and start moving forward.
