Heaviest train over Tehachapi these days?

I think it’s this grain train that runs a few times a week. Anyone know where it’s destined, export or customer in the valley?

Probably headded to Stockton for export. Eric might know.

It is probably headed to Denair. Another possibly is Trigo. Coast Grain built a large elevator there a few years ago, then promptly went bankrupt. As startup ethanol company (Pacific Ethanol) bought it a few years ago and are currently building an ethanol plant there. They have a feed subsidiary (Pacific Ag Products), so they may get unit trains. There are also grain elevators in the Corcoran area, although I am not sure if any get unit trains.

I have only seen rice in Port of Stockton’s Daily Vessel Log.

Thanks for the info; seems to run at least 4X a week, maybe more.
