Help identify these Pieces?

I have two train cars one red, one orange and they are both American flyers with “over 7 million happy owners” on the side.
The orange car is an open top cargo car and has 4017 on the side.
The red car is a caboose with 6 windows- 3 on either side of the 7 million owners plate, and has 4011 on the side.

If anyone can identify these I would very much appreciate it because I have searched for a very long time and have found nothing.
I also think that they are from at least the 1960’s but I am not expert.

These two cars are American Flyer wide gauge (Standard Gauge) made in the late 1920’s and early 1930’s. The 4017 is a sand car. There were plates that said 6, 7 or 8 million depending on the year of manufacture. Many of the cars had no plates.
The 4011 is as you say, a caboose. The American Flyer catalogs are online at Catalogs if you want to page though some to see the cars and sets.
