I purchased this generic fan-driven smoke unit and modified it for a double stack Williams diesel. The motor has died on it and I need to replace it. Does anyone know who the manufacturer is and can I get a replacement motor? I really do not want to replace the whole unit if I don’t have to. Can anyone help?
Looks like an MTH motor. Try a MTH repair center. They cost about $6.00
If you have any problem obtaining an exact replacement, it looks like an ordinary hobby motor. You just need to know the voltage and shaft size and you should be able to get one at most any hobby shop or possibly Radio Shack…I know that they used to carry them but Radio Shack has changed a lot over the last few years.
