Heres a few layout shots (5 pictures)

I think I finally got a layout I might like. It was a shelf layout and I just added some sides. Its about 8ft wide by 12ft long. I am trying to make it a liftout, but if it doesn’t go well, I will just have to crawl under. The white (plaster area) is 4in. high all around the edge, and I will have a lower part. The train on the upper part is going to go around and around. With just one area for some switching. I have room for maybe one more spot, but I will have to see. Plus I will have to make sure nothing falls off from the top.

The lower part will have alot of switching. Also, the upper part will have 18% curves and the lower will have 22% curves. I already laid the track out, and everything fits good. I also gave several test runs on the top. So far, so good.

That’s similar to what I’m doing. Why did you go with such tight curves? I was able to get a minimum of 24" in one spot and the rest around 30". That’s why I went with that configuration instead of a folded dog bone. You can fit much wider turns on it.

Honestly, thats all I have on hand. Now I am sure other sizes would probably work on the upper part and lower. I thought about using flex track for the curves as well.
