First of all, a very nice layout! Secondly, a very well produced video. There are times when we get caught up in details and sometimes worry that we are getting to myopic, your layout proves the naysayers wrong. My heart felt thanks.
The start looks great; however I am having great difficulty in accessing the next sections of the video. The idea is brilliant, but most of us do not have the facilities to product a video like this. I would love to see a tour of the MR&T presented in this manner. (Suggestion for David POPP, as senior video editor to do something like this in MR VidoePlus).
Thanks for the positive feedback! To address the two comments, I haven’t posted Part 2 yet because it’s still in work and I need to improve the photography method and sound. I have new equipment to create more complex shots. Please don’t push MR too much yet before I get a little thunder for the idea! I appreciate the “myopic” comment because it is so true. I’ve seen an increase in negative feedback. At the end, it’s a hobby of creativity that I enjoy and shouldn’t be set by rules. The positive feedback keeps me (and others that post) motivated to push our envelope. Thanks to MR for the forum to do this!
Awesome!
Do you have access to a full-sized green screen?
I’ll get into the details on how I made this video when I work out all that was wrong it! I do have an 8 foot Green Screen studio kit with (3) box lights. Both I and the layout were captured using a Nikon 3200D DSLR 24mb camera 1080p 30 fps with Nikon macro lens and wide angle lens. Part 2 I’m upgrading using a Rode NTG2 shotgun microphone, ProAm Camera Crane /Jib mounted on a Ravelli 75mm Video Camera Tripod with Fluid Drag Head and Bescor Video Motorized Pan Head. I use multiple software for titles and music and final edit using Adobe Premier Pro.
Wow! What a wonderful concept! And, it seems you are a fan of Alfred Hitchcock, Rod Serling and Carl Sagan, as elements of each of their styles come across mostly very subtly, and at times quite humourously obviously. I love the close up look of your buildings. One can see the collected dust and leaves on the windowsills, the dirt and gravel on the locomotive running boards. This gives us a virtual way to enter our own layouts and make some interesting conversation from a scale point of view. Cheers!
