I’m sorry, but I don’t have a layout yet. I don’t have any banthas either. But I do have some Star Wars stuff. I prefer to blast banthas with my TIE fighter.

But you will join the dark side. You can’t resist. MWAHAHAHA!!!
The dark side includes the cheap trains that everyone hates so much.

Wecome aboard Darth. Everyone has to start somewhere. My first loco was pretty basic but I got to work on it allot to make it run good. Nothin like hands on to learn.

My first loco was a Life-Like N-scale F40. Then a while later I got an HO train set at a garage sale for 5 dollars and I’ve been in HO since then. Took some wheel cleaning to get the Life-Like GP38 running, but it’s still runs a bit jerky. I used to think you could tell the quality of a train by it’s weight. I know better now.

I’m new here too. Don’t do much posting, but I’m learning a lot.

Especially how to make nice, cheap pines. Gonna need a lot. A whole lot.

If you are refering to Bachmann products, than I am with the DARK SIDE. Bachmann has been really good to me over the years, the majority of both my HO and N collections are Bachmann.

Yes, I’m refering to the mid 70’s to mid 80’s Bachmann products and the Tyco and Life-like stuff from the same time.
