HO Scale Buses

[8D]just wondered if someone makes HO Scale Bus Models.[?]I Already Know That Busch Has A Model of a GMC 'Fishbowl’Transit Bus and Life Like Has A Generic 50’s Era School Bus and Jordan Models has a 30’s Era Bus,but I’m talking about Intercity Buses*(ie:Greyhound,Trailways,etc.).I found a listing on the Internet for a Company caled Precision Scale Models that specializes in HO Bus Models, but everytime I tried to logon,it diverted me to (among other listings)Ebay sites and[:0][;)]Nude Modeling Websites[;)].(nothing against going to wwwdotclickclickclicknekkidchicksman.(a little nod of the head to 'Boomhauer’from “King of the Hill.”[:D]),but not when I’m trying to find out Model Railroad info.Plus, most Libraries frown up[on your looking at them.[:(][;)][:D].Anyhoo,any reply is greatfully appreciated.

The company you are referring to went out of business,it was called American Precision Models they were located in the Buffalo,NY area,I purchased a couple of there 50’s style buses they were city transit style,GMC I believe.

Here is a link I found that describes the buses,

Aztec Eagle,

Check out the Sceni-Crusider thread. I brought it back up to the front page as of this post. These HO buses are beautiful but expensive. The prototype SceniCruiser was introduced in the 1950s and the MC7 in the 1960s.

Edo is correct.

I bought a GMC “Old Look” bus from APM about 5 years ago. They had some very nice looking buses. I was shocked when they went out of business as all of the buses at the local LHSs sold out.

An LHS manager explained to me that the owner made a big “one time” investment in producing the buses and as soon as they sold out, he bowed out as well.

Priate Models has or had HO and N scale buses as well. They pop up on ebay sometimes. Imported from Great Britain, their kits require assembly.

greyhound sells theyre buses in ho scale at main terminals with a gift shop check out www.greyhound.com the sell for about $6.99 or so.

hope this helps
