Ho Scale concrete Cinder blocks? Is their a manufacturer who makes them?
Pikestuff makes concrete block walls in sheets. 541-1004, 541-1005, 541-1006. In HO scale feet the size is about 14 x 28, 14x 18 and 14x 9. Give them a look.
EDIT Micromark also sells sheets of concrete blocks. They are photos of real sufaces and the surface is raised to show mortar lines.
Pallets of concrete blocks and pallets of cinder blocks are available from Model Railstuff - located in the “scenery” section of the Walther’s HO catalog.
I have seen packets with individual HO cinderblocks at a big train show but can’t locate the listing in the catalog at present… still looking…

Thanks for your help Bill,I went to Model railstuff, and didn’t see them,I’ll keep looking,I have been considering adding a Cinderblock manufacturing plant to my switching layout and was just curious to know if such a product was avaliable.
Thanks for your help Ned,now that you mention it,I am definately interested in such a product.I am planning a Modern era(1995-2010) Switching layout and plan on using modern buildings to populate it with and that would include Cinderblock based buildings.Of coarse i will most likely “scratch-build” most of the building “fronts”,because their isn’t alot of modern buildings avaliable in HO scale.Although Walthers has been coming out with some new stuff(Bud’s Trucking),and Pike stuff has some nice modern buildings.
From the 2010 Walther’s HO catalog, mfgr Railstuff:
Item 506-540 Concrete Block, banded (Palletized)
Item 506-550 Cinder Block, Banded (Palletized) (darker color than concrete block).
Each of these is listed at $5.67 for a package of four, which would add up quickly for a railcar load. These might be useful for foreground items, though, with the rest of the production implied behind a shed or with less detailed and hand-made items. Those on a pallet would be just the thing for outside the manufacturing plant, though.
Again, I have seen a packet on display with about six individual HO cement blocks in it, but I can’t find the listing.
