HO scale Herpa freight cars?

After parusing through Walthers online catalog this morning, I came across Herpa freight cars.

Does anyone have info on these cars?
Are they half decent? Crappy? Worth or not worth the money?

Any advice would be appreciated.

there not worth the price, because you goto a flea market and buy them for $5 to $10 with kd couples

Trains Canada makes accurate kits, however they are just Atherean repainted in Canadian roadnames. From what most modellers have told me most of what they produce is not accurate to the hardcore modeller. Mind you I don’t count rivets but some modellers do.

Once again wrong information. These are not Athearn repaints. The cars I have are pretty good models of a Canadian built boxcar that is different fronm US built cars. Unfortunately, like Athearn some of the paint jobs are not correct for the body…
