HO signals on EBAY from WEHONEST coming from China

Anyone have any input on their various signal products? Opening this up to shipping…quality…installation…reliability. They claim 99% satisfaction on EBAY. Price is very low per unit as compared to NJ International. What is being used for power supply? With some further detailing a plausible low cost HO signal could be had? Any and all input requested

Any electronic devices that I have purchased (N) scale, have worked just fine-keep in mind that some of the instructions can provide humor on a otherwise dull evening.

No problems with any of my purchases to date.

I have heard good things about Wehonest and would not hesitate to buy from them as far as trust goes. I recieved 200 LEDS from another company in China in fourteen days for $6.80 including shipping. My kid orders computer harddrives, soundcards etc. and other electronics from China all the time… They are CSA approved and seem to be identical to the same products you buy on this side for many more times the price.

I’m just waiting for the Rapido factory to start selling direct. Maybe I can get those Rapido Steamers coming out for $29.95.[:-^]

Havent bought signal but other stuff. Took a VERY L O N G time to arrive

On the flip side of that bought 15 street lights for $9, no shipping charges, had them in 10 days

Do you have a link to them on EBay? Tried to search by name, but not coming up.

Thanks!

Neal

I bought these from evemodel_usa on e-bay and received them fairly quickly

“JTD19 10 sets Target Faces With LEDs Railway Dwarf signal HO OO Scale 2 Aspects”

They came with 20mA LED but I got different 10mA LED installed, here is what I’ve got (ignore Bachmann signal and photo sensor) -

I have few more pictures & videos in my blog below in case you want to see them in action.

I’ve purchased many items from We Honest, mostly trees, LED’s, and streetlights, all at remarkable prices. Never have had a problem.

I have had maybe a dozen transactions with wehonest and all have been without consequence. I have put together several of the plastic dwarf signals and they look pretty good for the cost.

I’m presently trying to correct a problem with evemodel where I ordered 100 6mm x 5mm magnets and they sent 2mm x 1mm by mistake. I have passed several emails with them, then they wanted photos of the wrong ones.

They may resolve it but so far it has been a week with no refund or return instructions.

Generally 2 to 3 weeks is the usual shipping time but on one occasion I got a package from wehonest in FIVE days!

As with anything on Ebay, read the description carefully and look closely at the photos.

Good Luck, Ed

I’ve been buying from WeHonest for years and I’ve never had a problem. I’ve bought HO scale trees, unpainted figures, building materials, park benches and hundreds of LEDs & GOW bulbs.

I buy their curved top streetlights and do a mod to the base to make them easily removable.

I’m super clumsy so everything sticking up off my layout is easily removable (or easy replaceable when clumsy breaks something).

I have bought a number of items fron Wehonest no problems often in pretty good shipping time. I have bought LEDs, Lamposts in several sizes and dwarf signals. All have worked well .I bought dwarf in HO and N ,size of the N scale look better to me for HO. The dwarfs I picked out in N scale look better to me and appear closer to what I have seen arond the railroad. Of course thes are not scale US&S or GRS scale models but they look good for the money. The street lamps look good and work well and all the LEDs I have used in my diesels look good. I would reccomend them. Just keep in mind these are not Tomar or NJ as far as detail and quality but I think you can find a use for them

I have purchased almost $200 of trees from them in the past. Good prices and fast service… Jim

Thank You to everyone for your input. i will make up a list and give them a try. I came across them on EBAY while searching HO signals and then looking at there store for all their products. Again thanks to all…ED K

I recall when this topic last came up, I looked briefly thru their offerings at the time, and thought the offerings did look reasonable.

This time I looked deeper into their store, and saw the YD100S LED-street-light-Lamps looked really decent (certainly for mid/far distance scenery) and seemed to be roughly the right height for HO (9metres). If the consensus is that the LEDs are OK, then that’s a great price (lots of 10 or 20)

The HO figures are so blatantly copies of Presier figures (I readily recognized some from the Fair-goer set, and some figures from the seated travelers sets) it wasn’t even funny (I ave enough of those particular figures anyway).

Now, the HO car models (4D models) were reviewed by Zeteo.com (that blog seems to be deprecated, some images are missing) they were knock-offs of other manufacturers and were a bit rough - the Honda Odyssey looked OK, and a few others ones, but still, nothing great. However, I may have missed it, but if WeHonest carries the 4D HO limo series (especially the Lincoln Town Car, the Hummer, & Cadillac), I’d have to break down and order a few.

I recall an article from a few years back stating why shipping is often free with these type of Pacific Rim eBay vendors is because internation postal reciprocation agreements set such parcel rates so low that the shippers can afford to absorb the costs - meaning if shipping a package domestically would cost 15.00, it would cost a buck or so internationally (or some similar ratio) - of course i can’t find that article right now…

I also bought items a number of times from WeHonest, no problems, shipping takes a while, but the prices are so low. Recomend them highly.

I find the company name amusing. Right up there with FINESTQUALITY, ONLYTHEBEST etc. that you frequently here from that side of the pond.

Jim,I thought the name was kinda humorous then thought maybe that was the English from Chinese translation.

I order some trees and was surpise how fast they was shipped and the turn around time-9 days from China.

Their name is not a misnomer

Not bad. It takes almost as long to get items from England which is much closer.

When I get to some tree’s, I’ll have to give them a look.

Those items are so small and so light, they probably just toss them into a container full of other stuff, headed for the US at no charge.
