HO steam detail parts: extended valve covers

Is there a source for extended valve covers found on older steam engines. I understand Smoky Valley may have had them at one time but they are not shown on their current web site. I am backdating some Bowser steamers and either need to buy the EVCs or make them from scratch. Any advice appreciated.

I am not familiar with the term. Do you mean the forward protruding piston rod such as is seen in this old picture?

I do mean the “protruding” rods from the front of the cylinders on “old time” locomotives. I managed to scratch together some reasonable facsimiles from a combination of styrene tubes and rods.
