Well this week end was filled with activity ! Saturday we sandes the drywall , installed doors , trim , shelves and installed work benches and storage shelves and finally prepped the trim for caulk. All completed by 4pm ! Sunday rested. Today I have an out of work friend coming over to start painting [tup] works out for both of us. He needs the income I do not have the time. This week thursday or friday the carpet will go down in the office and tile in the hall. The hobby room floor will remain unfinished. Next week start building benches for the layout [(-D] still looking for “loco’s anonymous” [(-D]
Sounds like a fun project. Umm ,at the risk of being too much of a kibitzer,I’d like to suggest at least slapping a coat or two of paint on the layout room floor. It will help keep dust down, be easier to clean, and make the room seem brighter.I know you’d like to gete building but I think this suggestion will pay off in the loong run. BILL
Diffinately at least seal the floor.
It’s nice that your helping out a buddy in need.
Now I do not know why I had not thought of that , good idea ! My wife and I had discussed the floor issue many times Every thing from Vinyl tile to caoncrete paint . The problem for all of the issues boils down to money , thus the hold on the flooring But concrete sealer is relatively inexpensive and would do nicely to hold the dust down. Thanks Loather !
