HOBBY SHOPS IN ROCHESTER, MN ?

HI THERE

I HAVE TO TAKE WIFE TO MAYO CLINIC NEXT WEEK of jun 12 to Jun 15.

Are there any GOOD HOBBY SHOPS in ROCHESTER, MN ?

She is getting more info on a possible surgery or other options for her condition.

I will have time after 6pm to check stores & museums .

I am FROM MILWAUKEE , WI AREA .

There is one LHS in Rochester, MN - Everything Hobbies. They are mainly R/C airplanes and cars. They do have some trains, but it is very limited. They close about 6 or 7 PM week days. The closest trains LHS is in Winona. MN. It is 45 miles east of Rochester and is located in the Ace Hardware store in downtown Winona. It really is pretty good for only a few isles of train stuff.

Moons/Hendys Hobbies which had been a fixture in Rochester closed a number of years ago when the owner died. The family could not find a buyer and the store was liquidated about a year later. There is a Hobby Lobby, but really not much in trains there…

Good folks there, but I am more of a visitor to Rochester, & enjoy it!

I do miss Moody’s though…
