We are heading down to Washington for the weekend from Friday to Monday, and staying in the Sedro Woolley area south of Bellingham. I am wondering if there are any good hobby shops to visit in the area around Burlington etc… without driving south to Everett or north back up into Bellingham?
Any info would be great, thanks.
Dan
Sorry I didn’t see your post before now, but if it’s not too late…In Burlington there is Performance RC Hobbies on Fairhaven-the main street in “old town” Burlington. Suzy is the owner. They have a small train room in the back but not a whole lot of stock. Still, worth a peek if you’re so close. They have a yellow and Black plastic sign over the door on the S. side of the street next to and across the street from Skagit State Bank. Phone (360) 755-9464 320 E. Fairhaven Ave. The Broadway Hobbies/Everett Hobby Shop in Everett does have a good stock. Be sure to go in the very back to see the scenic-ing supplies. Lots of magazines too, including used ones. Lou is the proprietor. Might be worth a drive if you’ve never been there. Sorry don’t have a phone book for Everett. Bellingham has nothing, sadly, these days worth mentioning. Hope it helps and not too late for your “on the trip lap top”. Interested in hearing about your own layout too. Capt. G.
Hi Capt. G thanks for the note, I missed it before we went down though. I went to Hobbytown in Bellingham on the way home, nice store but seems to specialize in RC equipment.
Thanks
Dan
