There are a couple of Athearn blue box kits I’m looking for and would appreciate knowing of any hobby shops that still have a fair supply of these kits that I could check with. One kit in particular I want is Kit 5408, an EJ&E 34’ 2-Bay offset side hopper.
I just checked with Roys Train World in Mesa, Arizona and the clerk there–I believe it was the owner’s daughter I talked with–said they have quite a few in stock however . . . . . . . . . . You might call [b]480-833-4353 if you have any other preferences in mind.
Best get the Athearn Blue Box kits quick. They will disappear overnight.
Train shows and swapmeets will be good for them for a while.
