Hobbylinc

Has anyone done business wtih Hobbylinc? Looks like they have alot of nice products. Wondering what other modelers have to say.

I bought from them on several occasions and was always satisfied with their service but I do 90% of my buys from MODEL TRAINS STUFF

Might try Ulrich Models as well.

Steve, the owner has bent over backward to help with a couple of defective parts I bought.

I have done a lot of business with them and am well pleased although Model Train Stuff has lower prices and a little faster service. Mike

I just bought an outrageously tiny boxcab loco made by Grandt Line through them. Ok price, good email noification, fast shipping. No complaints, I’d use 'em again.

95% of what I get comes from these 3 places – Hobbylinc, Ulrich Models, and MODEL TRAINS STUFF. The first 3 places I check. It usually comes down to who has what in stock followed by how cheap it is if more than one has it in stock.

I have asked tech questions from each and have been satisfied every time.

I would recommend them to everyone based on my experiences.

The other two places I use when these guys can’t help is

Walthers – Usually in stock but kind of pricey. Have to watch the shipping too.

EBay – Buyer beware but there are deals to be had. I know this isn’t for everyone but it is a good option for those hard to find items

If there is something specific you need on Hobbylinc ask away

I bought an Atlas MP Caboose through them two years ago.

From what I’ve seen on their website, they have a decent selection.

But for the most part, with the exception of Atlas and Rapido, their selection tends more towards the medium level HO-ie:Bachmann;Model Power;etal.

I’ve bought a lot of stuff through Hobbylinc. I’ve never had any trouble even returning a defective loco… No questions asked, honored the sale price on the exchange…

I’ve never heard of Model Train Stuff or Ulrich… Gonna checkem out…
