Holiday Cheer for Model Railroaders

I know there’s a lot of controversy these days about PC greetings, etc. But here there’s one thing we agree on…trains. The season for a lot of us signals the time we decend into the basment to emerge in the spring with untold progress on the layout. So what is your best holiday train greeting. I’ll start the ball rolling.

Happy Trains! (Roy Rogers)

’ Tis the season for operations!

Scott

May your drives be long and your putts short, or is that golf?
May your engine stay on the track.

A spin off of that,

May your drivers be large and your puffs short.

Although I guess that only really works for steam passenger trains, huh?[:p]

Lang may yer lum reek!

Merry Christmas TTTTTTTTTTTRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNN!!!

Little early to be hittin’ the sauce, isn’t it? He, he, he…[:p]

May your cylinders be always filled with steam.

Adelie, I like that, though I am learning to settle for a reduction in pressure.

May your diesel be plentiful and your sand be helpful.

Heh, heh! But, that’s lum, not rum.

All the best, whatever you drink. Me, it’s Dalwhinnie.

Sending “car” cards and paying the “way” bills after. Ho, ho, ho scale!

Scott

May you always be on track or at least your trains and may all your blue boxes be complete, Merry Christmas. Phil

May the Christmas Eve festivities keep you as articulate as your articulateds.

Tom

Not if I get into the lum first.[:o)]

May you be in TRAINING all year long.
