Hooking-up NJ Int'l Flashing Crossbucks

I just purchased a set of NJ International’s HO scale crossbucks with LEDs facing both directions (4 LEDs on each pole). Great-looking as they are, their electrical hookup instructions are about worthless: “Use the instructions taht come with your flash unit.” But all of the flash units sold at the hobbyshops in my region already have the diodes attached, and do not say ANYTHING about connecting third-party LEDs.

I don’t want to do anything yet, for fear of burning out the NJ Int’l LEDs. Can somebody tell me which flash unit I should get?
