Hoping someone on this site can help me find more

I am not a train collector, I am just a mom looking for an old (much loved toy) from my childhood.

When I was a kid, I had toys (meant for boys, that had been my older brother’s) before they were passed on to me. One of my much loved toys was a train set. Althought it is not compatible with brio, it does closely resemble it, except that mine was from gray plastic. I have some pieces, but I need to replace and add to what I have left. I have checked each and every piec, and can’t find anything to identify who, where or even when it was made.

If anyone can be of any help I would greatly appreciate it. I am hoping to find pieces in time for Christmas.

Thank you for any info/guidance

Phone the Train Collectors Association (TCA) at 717 687 8623 or email them at toytrain@traincollectors.org. They should be able to help you.

I’ve seen these listed on ebay before. I believe they’re made by a brand called “Child Guidance”. I would try searching for this on ebay. It would probably be your best bet for finding one.
