How about some Beer cars

Yeeess thass pretty good. [Y] hic.

These are both Athearn blue-box reefers. The first is a Greenway model, pretty much as purchased. The second is hand-done for my own Strumpet Brewery here in Moose Bay.

Yum, Pearl Beer! [B]

Nice collection of cars. Mine are something of a tribute to the “historic” old breweries of western NY. All are closed now except for the genesee brewery. I have about 10 more to paint and decal yet.

Not properly displayed on a layout or served in a frosted mug, but at least they’re on ice!

Actually, it’s an air hockey table. The Pabst car is at least a half-century old, found in a yard-sale box-o-trains my Mom bought me when I was a young teenager. Mule and Harvard are Greenways, and I did the Haggis car (not a beer reefer, but a reefer nonetheless) from an Athearn Blue Box kit. Artistic acknowledgement to Fritz Milhaupt for the decals on the Haggis car. Thanks again.

You can also go to Cloverleaf.com and buy the dry transfers of beer cars, lots of different names to choose from.

I think this guy might be fairly old. I got it from a co-worker about 10 years ago, and he said it was is father’s. I have no idea who the maker is.

I need new glasses. When my wife asked why I was digging through our trash for empty cans, I told her, “one of the guys on the forum wants 'em.”

“Show me!”, she demanded. So, I did.

“Honey, that says Beer CARS!!!”

“Oh…”[swg]

This is my favorite!

I bought it on e-bay a few years ago. This one is a favorite of the younger guys in the RR club:

I think that one needs a smoke unit![swg]

[(-D] For our underage members…

I love it! Too bad that’s not a reefer car…

Actually, the canibis car should be a “reefer”
