I plan to post the Big 3000 on the thread based on the trails and tribulations of my tiny tiny model railroad “the saga of my ever shrinking railroad” over at the Garden RR forum.
But I wanted to thank EVERYONE here for there knowledge, freindlyness, and commeradory. I have learned SO MUCH here, that i had to make the effort to thank everyone here for sharing their experiences, education, and mostly your sense of humor.
There are far to many people to thank individually, and instead of this becoming an Academy Award speech where the person drones on and on thanking everyone right back to their first grade teacher…I will instead say…

Whenever I see your name in the reply column, I always view the post to see what you wrote, even if the original post is a subject that does not interest me all that much, knowing that I will enjoy what I read. And if you create a post, I usually follow it more closely than many others.
Your posts are sometimes entertaining, sometimes informative, and sometimes intelligent (although not always at the same time [:D]). I am glad you contribute as often as you do.
And besides, anyone that worked for Megadodo publications, actually knows Slartibartfast, and is not a descendent of the Golgafrinchams can’t be all bad.

Nah, I got a stash of Oompa Loompa’s in the back shed that Willy Wonka traded me for a bunch of Gnomes I trapped in backyard (He considers them a Delicacy). I just dangle a couple chocolate bars over there heads (Willy gets them addicted as soon as he gets a shipment from his Russian trafficers) and they’ll work till the cows come home! Dont take up much space, and will work for peanuts, well… Mr Goodbars anyway[:D]
