How do i wire hon3 dual gauge track with dcc

i plan on building a layout with a dual gauge yard but im not sure how to wire it do i just connect the wire to all 3 rails

Hi there and welcome to the community. You need to connect one pole (+ or - wire) on the rail that is furthest away from the two others, and the other pole or wire to the ones that are closer apart.

I am tempted to have him find and read one of the old Atlas books about ‘common-rail wiring’. If he constructs his trackwork so as to have a ‘common rail’ it may simplify how he implements ‘drops’ to the other two, even though rail ‘polarity’ is not a concern for direction.

Yes, additionnal info about the layout and whether it is DC or DCC might bring about more advice.

He says in the thread title that it’s DCC. He has it in lower case.
