How to Change a Ditchlight in Athearn Genesis SD60M?

The title pretty much explains it my new barely 2 weeks old blew one of its ditchlights yesterday and i was wondering how do you replace them? I dont want to mess this engine anymore than it already is! So if anyone knows how to change the light i would appreciate any help i can get! Also the engine is DCC and sound equipped if that helps any.

  1. Go to LHS and purchase a Grain of Rice 1.5v bulb (or 2 or 3).

  2. Take off loco shell.

  3. Remove burnt out bulb.

  4. Replace with new bulb.

  5. Put shell back on.

  6. Test.

You have mentioned my only pet peve with new Athearn stuff. Everyone else is going with LEDs.
