How to remove a whistle switch rivet on a Lionel KW transformer

I have a KW transformer on which I need to remove the “B” side switch to repair a contact. I am unsure as to how to remove the switch rivet to do so. Is there anyone who might be able to tell me how? Thanks!

The rivet would have to be carefully drilled out. A new rivet would need to be inserted and peened over.
