I want to search the forums for an answer to a question I have. I’d rather do that first, then if I have no luck, write a question. Anyone know how to do this?

Hi. To the right, a sidebar with some graphics and ads, find a smaller box with heavy black font that says, “Search our Community”. You can select in which forum you’d like to constrain your search in a box just below the empty box in which you would add your syntax. Then you click on “Search” to the right.
If I were interested in how wear patterns or measured profiles on tire treads determine when an axle is either discarded or taken out for machining/resurfacing (or whatever, I’m just making this up as an example…), I would try something like, “Flange wear”, or “Machining wheels”, or “Reconditioning axles”, and other similar guesses to see what the search engine derives. In the modelling world, for installation of a turntable, or wiring it, it would be, “installation of turntable”, “installing turntable”, and “wiring turntable”.

Thanks Crandell, that’s what I was looking for.

Don’t forget to search for the myriad of misspellings.
