hurricane

I just want to let you know that you fellow model railroders in the path of Frances, my wife and I are hoping and praying for your safety, may God Bless you all and your families.

thanks im not near it but my grandparents are and on behalf of them thanks. speaking of the hurricane my dad flew down for the last hurricane to help reshingle my grandparents roof. 140+ degrees…

I’ll be praying for ya’ll down there in the path of that big storm. i have some relatives there, so I am hoping they will be safe.

Thankyou all. As slow as it is moving, floods will also be a BIG factor. Any debris
will be a missle. Shingles will slice thru aluminum sheeting. Been there, seen it,
was in Andy, hit by both sides as eye was over out ex home.

Hurricane hit just to north of us but we had the southern eye wall for hours. This thing took from friday afternoon until today to move completely out of Palm Beach County. A lot of rain and high winds all that time but it really got with the program on Saturday morning then Saturday night was a night from, well you know where, no damage to the house but a lot of jangled nerves. power went off around 11am saturday night and just came back on about 1.5 hours ago. Now we may have to deal with Ivan, hope not. Thanks for your prayers, it helped.
