I got new pictures to show and a update on the candle line and questions

hey guys been busy lately i just got this nylint truck for 15$, also all the track in the blue box i got for 7$

i wanted to ask what is that black thing on the track in the one picture?

also the engine i have the hood off down there what good is it with such a crappy motor? is it helpful as a secondary unit or no at this point? i just cant tell.

Also what good is a automatic uncoupler when i can just uncouple cars manually and not have to be over a certain section of track?

i also wanted to update u guys on the candle line as you see below we have golden wax this time that is scented.

we put 50$ worth of candles up in flea market and right now we sit back and let them sell by next weekend well see how we did.

Hello,
You have a good amount of track in the blue box, should come in handy. I bought a lot of bulk track that way before my Flyover project, I still have more leftover….
The black piece on one of the track sections will engage a pickup shoe on certain operating cars. I have a postwar Lionel boxcar with a brakeman that moves up and down that would be actuated by a rail like you have in the picture.
For the H0 diesel, it seems to be a low end starter set type engine. If it works, great, but may not be worth trying to repair.
Your layout looks fun!

yes it can be at times

this is a picture of where the wax goes to

but anyhow that HO Diesel runs ok im just asking what good is it when it’s motor cant pull 3 emepty cars

It can be useful for light duty, moving a car or two, or switching. But not as a road freight engine. As long as it runs…
