Went this morning, enjoyed the show. Other interesting things to see besides trains. I got to see new products from the top manufacturers: Walthers, Atlas, Kato, and actual samples of things that I pre-ordered. I’m not sure how I missed the Athearn/Horizon booth…

The main reason that I’m making this post is to rave about the Woodland Scenics display. I couldn’t be more proud of those guys and happy with the direction they are headed in after the fire in their facility a few years ago and the economy having been…well, just broken. They have a lot of cool new stuff coming, just when I’m beginning to “scenic” parts of my layout. Perfect timing. Well worth the ten bucks to get in and 1 more day.

The big train shows are awesome. I went to one of the public days at the ATL NMRA show and was not disappointed. Glad you had a great time!

I totally agree with your feelings about Woodland Scenics. I’m just getting ready to add a river and some more scenery on my layout and I’m looking forward to using their “Water” for my river. Their scenery products are awesome and a far cry from what we had when I begin this great hobby. I would hate to think about where we would be without Woodland Scenics.
