i need to know a caboose that would go with a wisconsin central diesel!!!!

please i need to know what the title is!!! thankyou!!![:O] and the caboose has to be from the walthers 2006 reference book!

Get the Walthers trainline one. It’s cheap, just add windows and paint the grab irons. I have one (it’s the only WC caboose I could find).

my friend stated to get a blank 1. he has been modeling since he was 1 years old…so i think i will take his advice.but thyanx for your.

The Walthers Trainline WC caboose is a good caboose though, I wouldn’t dismiss it out of hand. I’ve got one and I run it at shows for hours at a time on my club’s layout, and it has rarely ever come off the track or failed me once. It even works good as a rear end protector for when I accedentally slammed into the rear of another train with my caboose on it! Not a scratch on her either.

If you go with a “blank” one (Also known as undecorated to most modelers), you will have to paint it yourself, which can be a lot more hastle than it’s worth sometimes. It would be much simpler to just by one that is already factory painted, and the Walthers Trainline caboose is generally less than $10.

With a little work and detail, the Walthers Trainline models are a great buy. I have 3 of the cupola cabooses. I just weighted them to NMRA standards, ditched the hook-horn couplers, put in windows, and painted the grab irons. Now they look just as good as any RTR cabooses for the same price or less.

The GB&W (green bay and western) was bought out by the Wisconsin central so you could get a caboose and paint it for green bay and western.

I would get an Soo line caboose. Blank the some of the windows out and weather it real heavy to run with my Wisconsin Central. It would look like they ( WC ) just have purchased it but havent repainted it yet in their shops. Kevin
