In Training

This little battery operated set is 18 years old. Bought it for the first grandson when he was 2 years old to start his training to graduate to an electric train. Grandsons #2 and #3 also received their training with this set. Now 18 years later our 2 year old God Son starts his training.

I couldn’t think of a better demonstration of the timeless appeal of toy trains across generations.

Thanks for sharing these photos, especially the one on the bottom, that is a familiar pose for me. I have a picture of myself at the age of four and I still resort to bending close to table level for a track side view …as a big kid and old codger.
