Hello all…was wondering if anyone had any information on what happened to Santa Fe engine #3654 out of Emporia KS?
I show 3654 (GP39-2, 1975) being renumbered to ATSF 3440, then taken over into BNSF as 2844.
Still in "Santa Fe’ blue and yellow in 2018, working near Albuquerque NM. There are a comparatively great number of pictures of this unit on line.
