Intergrating N scale Code 55 to Code 88

I have installed the DCC turntable and it is using Code 88 track on it. My layout is Code 55. I want to do a lead in to the turntable with Code 88. What are some recomendations?

Thanks for any and all help.

If this is N scale, it’s more likely Code 80. Depending on the brands of Code 55 and Code 80 that you are using, some combination of shimming and filing will allow you to make a smooth transition between the Code 55 and Code 80.

More clarity about what you are trying to do and the brand(s) of track you are using will help others help you.

Best of luck.

THank you very much. I did mean Code 80, was thinking too far ahead of what I was typing[:)]

I figured that would be the solution, but was hoping there was quick fix. You were most helpful have a great day.

If you have PECO code 55, you can connect it directly to code 80 using standard rail joiners.

For other brands of code 55 Micro Engineering 26-004 transition joiners will probably work:

or you can put standard code 80 joiners on the code 80 rail, flatten the protruding ends, and solder the code 55 rail to them making sure the rail heads line up
