Internet Hobbies [banghead]

I am frusturated with Internet Hobbies. I ordered something 13 days ago and have not gotten an email of it getting shipped out.[soapbox] The product is in stock and says " Ships in 2 to 3 working days". Please help me and I do not reccomend buying there.[:(!]

Internet Hobbies ( www.internethobbies.com ) or Internet Trains ( www.internettrains.com ) ?

Before commenting I just want to make sure that we’re talking the same retailer.

Its Internet Hobbies.

Here is an absolutley absurd idea…why not call them and ask them what is going on? Ill put money on you getting a straight answer…

David B

I did. Doesn’t that seem a little obvious?

Did you talk to Dale (the president) or one of his employees? I would get a hold of Dale Bruner and talk to him directly, because I know he is a good guy and will help you out.

No, it was not obvious.

I’ve never dealt with this company, but the “word on the street” is that they are slow to deliver. Many retailers allow the customer to track one’s order as far as order received, order shipped, and progress of shipment. Did you check to see if that service was available? It was rude if they didn’t respond to an email. The next step is making a phone call to them. And if unsuccessful, a letter by snail-mail. And so on up the legal route.

Mark

What’s his number, or can you give me a link.

Obvious? No, I did not make the assumption that you called. You made no reference to talking to anyone or calling anyone or picking up the phone or dialing…nothing. You only said that you were waiting for an email.

So, you are saying that when you called (which I doubt), no one could actually help you? I find that hard to believe. If it doesnt make sence…then it probably isnt true.

Here…call this number and have your CC ready…

570-876-6070

David B

Well maybe I should have mentioned it, but you aren’t helping me!

That is the number on the site.

Oh what a tangled web we weave, When first we practise to deceive!

What I dont understand is why you are asking for help on these forums when you should be calling Internet Hobbies…no one can help you here.

David B

New Haven, you need to take deep breaths and calm yourself. Further, be forthcoming. You didn’t demonstrate credibility by claiming you called the retailer and then later requesting the company’s phone number.

You should be at least 18 years old or working with an adult when dealing directly with retailers.

Mark

Ain;t that the truth.

“Hey, it;s some kid. He doesn;t know anything, let’s give him the runaround.”

I think what I5 means is he called Internet Hobbies, and got one of the employed monkeys, but wanted a more direct number to the owner.

Delete this post selector, I have had enough. ( By the way I’m over 18 years of age.)
