I have sent three emails to InternetTrains.com about a problem with my order but I never received a response. I was wondering if others that purchased items at this store had problems with email communication? The first email was sent a week ago. Does the owner have a longer than normal response time?
I recently sent an e-mail concerning a refund I am due, and I haven’t heard anything either.

Just wanted to let you know that I sent the webmaster an email through InternetTrains.com and he received it. He told me to send the email to him and he would check it out. I don’t know, but there maybe a problem with some of the links on the Contact Us page.
Note: to tcwright973, go to InternetTrains.com Contact Us page and send an email through the Website Comments and Suggestions link that you haven’t received a response to your emails.
Thanks mmason73, I’ll do that.
Tom
mmason73, I have ordered through them two times. The first order was in March. I cancelled it because they didn’t have the items I wanted and kept asking me if I wanted substitutes. After four weeks of this and still not being able to complete my order I cancelled it and ordered it from elsewhere.
The second order I place was about 6 weeks ago. Again they didn’t have all the items. Finallly after 4 weeks I called and had them cancel the items they couldn’t get and ship me the rest of the order. It arrived about a week later.
If you are not getting anywhere with them by email try giving them a call. Everytime I’ve called them I’ve gotten someone that could give me order status. There number is 1-800-369-0878.

I had to contact internet trains via e-mail and they responded back the next day. However, I found calling them was much simpler and I had an issue resolved right away.
Just to let everyone know what has happened. I received a response from the webmaster that the emails they were sending to me were being blocked by my mail host. The problem was that my mail host was bouncing the messages back to Internet Trains because it thought it included non-Western characters, eventhough the email had none. So, instead of using my non-ISP mail host, I decided to setup email forwarding to my email account with my ISP. Now all messages from InternetTrains.com are getting through. In my case, this was a problem with my mail host and not with InternetTrains.com.
The best thing to do is pick up a phone. Yall remember what those are, don’t you?
i will never buy anything from that website again. i bought loads of stuff, and when it was finally sent three months later, a trestle bridge was never sent. they have never replied to emails or phone calls.they suck.
You’re right about calling. I was going to call if this did not get worked out. I just became overly concerned, probably too much, because I remember when I had similar problems with eHobbies 4 years ago. Luckily, the problem was on my end and fixed.
Since this InternetTrains.Net outfit appears to be, either the most loveable, or the most detestable outfit this side of Tehran, I feel that all of you opinionated individuals out there can answer the question of the day: Which is better; Atlas or Kato? Do not shrug this question off; the fate of civilization could depend upon your answer.
The truth is that Internet trains have a terrible record with the BBB, about one refund a week the last month.
Avoid these scams. They are notorius for not answering and worst of all:cashing
in your money but never delivering the goods.
Puke on them, really.
I’ve never ordered from them, and I never will. I’ve ordered from a number of good e-tailers, among them www.discounttrainsonline.com. But, what happens if you mean to go there, and instead only put in one of the “t”'s, as in www.discountrainsonline.com. Oh, my. Somebody has actually registered that URL, but linked it to themselves. Technically feasable, sure. Legal, well, maybe. Ethical? NO WAY, dudes. Go ahead. Click on the second link and see where you end up. Don’t support unethical e-jackers like this.
But have a happy Thanksgiving, regardless of these turkeys.
