Is it time to hold back?

Larry, I’m talking about myself. I can’t enjoy running those types of locomotives. Tons of people can. Its a choice.

Ulrich, how many loco’s did you buy over the last 25 years and who produced them?

I bought one of those and I was actually very surprised by it. It was suppose to be just a roundhouse filler but it does get to take the odd trip around the layout once in awhile. They do scream for more detail and it will get somemore eventually. Yes it is amazing what a few details and nice paint will do.

People should not have to defend their positions over what they choose to spend their money on, really.

I think that Bachmann’s selection of locomotives is pretty well on the mark myself, just because they are probably more affordable should not make them a convenient target for beating on. And, while they are not as detailed, they actually make good platforms for detailing as much, or as little, as you want.

BTW…has this horse been beaten enough?

I think it has, Barry!

Let´s move on, folks!
