I get a kick out of watching the fires get started. Some of you should know better. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out who the flamer is (he uses several aliases–some very recent) and those who can be expected to respond.
It is interesting to watch as the same person agrees with himself under a different name. It is difficult to see what is for real and what is made up. I think half of what is posted is just an illusion. I have to check my license every so often to make sure I am who I think I am.
Shill Berwood
Shill or Bill,
The anonymity of these forums allows these guys to say anything that comes to mind. It doesn’t have to have any semblence to the truth or basis in fact. So, it’s really pointless to give a reasoned, intelligent response. That only invites more nonsense.
It seems that many equate opinions with facts. And I’m sure you know what they say about opinions…

“It is interesting to watch as the same person agrees with himself under a different name”
There goes my chances of every being a suspect… hardly ever does anyone “publically” agrees with me. I do, however, get tons of “Ataboys” in e-mail![:P][;)]
Scott,
Considered yourself “agreed with”. I, for one, will go on public record for agreeing with you.
Dennis Brennan
And friends they may thinks it’s a movement… [^]
Gee Dennis, I guess that means you can count on me to be on “Troll Patrol”, as the one who is expected to respond. I don’t mind, I consider it a small public service, though it has been mistaken for an inflated ego on occasion.
I’m not sure if anyone realizes how much time I spend on all of Trains.com’s forums. I think it would be a safe bet that it is more than the staff, as they have other duties.
By the way, if you don’t see Mr Truth or Mr Bear around anymore, it is due to the fact that they exposed themselves, and were subsequently busted. I do expect them to rejoin under new names, and perhaps even multiply their personalities, as that is the typical pattern.
For the record, because I spend so much time here, I have gotten to know a lot of the members, especially the regulars. The more active you are, the more people you meet. Have fun.[:)]
[:-^] Walk right in, it’s around the back.
Just a half a mile from the railroad track.
You can get anything you want,
at Alice’s Restaurant.[:D]
Elliot, be careful, not everyone here is old enough to know that was a song about the Draft, or was it just a small pile of garbage along with 27 color photo, and a judge with a seeing eye dog, just a case of blind justices.
No one has mistaken your inflated ego. And yes, you do spend too much time here as your post count indicates. Obviously, you don’t have a life. I suggest you go find a job and get off the welfare rolls. Maybe Mike Wolf will hire you.

Ted-E-Bear, Would you use your good offices with Mike Wolf to help me find employment with him? I could use the job. (really) [:D][:D][:D] Besides, if he hires me, I won’t say any more bad things about him.[:D][:D][:D]
John, I would be glad to recommend you. After Mike gains control of Lionel, he will need a lot more employees.[;)]

Hmmm.[:D][}:)][:D][}:)][:D][}:)][:D][}:)][:D][}:)]
You know, tonight, i ran my new Lionel F-3’s (you know, the super detailed ones, that look and run great, from fresh molds, not rehashed old molds) And the passenger train was a complete MTH set. It looked and ran great and guess what, it didn’t burst into flame becase they were hooked together.
Of course there was quite a bit of symbolism there, LIONEL leads and MTH follows. LOL[:D][:D][}:)][;)][:p] BIll
As for trolls, just remember that these are sad, lonely people who by their very nature, are pretty much precluded from ever having sex again.[:(]
So they must sit here night after night, day after day, searching for meaning to their sad little lives. Always living in fear that they will be seen for what they truly are, wreached wrecks of human waste.
I have no need to hide, i’m Bill Trautmann, USAF Firefighter, and i stand behind what i say and post.
Elliot,
I thought Mr Bear was busted.
Tom, I have the original album with Arlo on the cover, I’ve had it since the early 70’s, when I was only 11 or 12. At one time I had the entire thing memorized, and I still remember good sized chunks of it.
There is a local radio station that plays it every Thanksgiving.
It wasn’t until a number of year later that I saw the movie. A bit of a let down after the song. Draggy and depressing, whereas the song captured the essence of the story, and is cute and catchy.
See what I mean Tom?[swg]
I don’t know about Mr. Bear, Elliot (I suspect he’s yet another alias of Danny Christopher), but I am certainly still here.
I stand corrected.
I don’t take charity from anyone, even though I don’t have a job.
Hmmmm, seems I missed something again.[8D]
“A miss is as good as a mile.”[:D]
That means I must be miles ahead.[:)]
And here I thought I way behind.[:(]
