Good evening all,

Finally got the last item accomplished that I needed to work entirely from home. I have no need to ever go back to the office and I do not plan to do so. After a certain point in time if it would become an issue, I can just walk away. That is a great feeling. Lousy weather today. I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Mike C. from Indiana

43 and light rain which is moving out. Off to work for the County.

Mornin’ boys. A bit of excitement in fifeworld the past day. New grandson decided he was done, and left the station early. Both middle princess and little engineer are doin fine, however he has to stay in the shed a week for finishing touches.

Aloha - snowy snow overnight - more today - hope to get out there later to clear the driveway.

Wow, Fife, glad youngster and mom are doing OK.

CONGAS, FIFE!!!

Got an e-mail from the state to “renew” my “FOID” card. Firearm Owners Identification card needed to buy guns and ammo in IL. WOW what a goat rope . It took an hour to jump through all of the hoops in their website before I got it done. Talk about stupid! Heck

Congratulations Fife! And best wishes to the “Middle Princess” and the “New Engineer!” [:D]

I hear you man! We went to the VA Dep’t of Health site to research COVID shots and availability and gave up! What a mess!

Roy…glad you’re improving

Steak & onion fried in butter and baked sweet tater for supper.

The ice storm predicted for today turned into much ado about nothing.

Tree started dropping needles so we took it down and gave it to daughters goats yesterday. Today working on putting away Christmas. Probably finish tomorrow.

Cable, phone, internet bill recently jumped from $200 to $300 a month. Decided to cut the landline, that got it to $200 again. Tech was here today and installed a different modem.

Best get back toit

Prayers for those in need and the end of this pandemic.

Howdy all!

Just slammed right now, still trying to deliver on what the owner over promised. Lost a good chunk of today as we are rolling out some stuff tonight for that big Canadian client of ours, and of course things started to go wrong around noon. Frustrating.

Got about an inch of snow today - just pushed it off of the driveway. Heavy, wet stuff.

So I was working last night and got abruptly kicked off my work machine - I think the network guy logged in to try to track down the lock out problems I’ve been having. Wish he had given me a heads up. I was annoyed, so headed up to the attic to fit those last boards. Set up the sawhorses, the circular saw and the jigsaw, cut the first board to length, slid it into where it goes so that I could mark the cutouts for the vertical joists, took back across to the sawhorses and cut those out. Then did the same for the angled joists. Fit perfectly the first time, didn’t need to do any extra cuts. That was the most difficult one, the other 2 big ones will be easy.

Have a good one!

Congratulations Fife!

Mike C - Working from home is great.

I forgot to mention we were doing a rollout at 9:30 tonight, so I decided to go up beforehand to the attic for a bit to try to get the other boards down. They each only needed one cut after being shortened, so I was able to knock them off in about 40 minutes.

Here’s what I did last night:
