Jay Bee Bennett Enterprises still in business?

Hello everyone,

I have a number of passenger cars that I would like to upgrade and while Kadee has conversion kits, I was told to try and use Jay Bee products. Only thing is I can’t seem to locate them and Walthers doesn’t have them listed. There’s some on Evilbay, but not what I’m looking for. Anyone know if they’re still around?

Greenway stocks the. On a side note, I think they chanded their name to just JB.

Jay Bennett passed away several years ago. However, someone bought the wheelset tooling and they are now available for sale again:

The coupler pads are not listed, but maybe the new owner knows where the coupler conversion tooling went?

Thanks for that link! I exhausted my supply of Jaybee’s about a year ago and been sitting on the fence about where to turn to for a new standard wheelset. Good to hear that JB is back with the same quality item I’ve relied on for three decades.

I went to the new web site and asked about the coupler mounting pads earier this evening. I just got a reply back! So, contact him at the email contact address and tell him what model you want…

I do have them. I just have not repackaged them nor have I done any marketing of them.
What ones are you looking for? If you don't mind a generic looking package I would be happy to fill your needs.
