Jerrell's Show Me Something, July 2020

Welcome to the July, 2020

"Show Me Something"

D****edicated to the originator, Jarrell

This is a place where forum members can post their photographs featuring a view of a “requested” scene or object.

The last request in June was from Ed who asked

Allan … Thank you for starting July Show Me.

E-units at Union Station.

Please show more E-units

YES to more Es!

Thanks for starting up the July Show ME, Allan!

More passenger action, please.

Here’s more passenger action with an E unit.

More E units please.

Here is my contribution, a GN E7 on the Mt Hood RR. Unfortunately, the camera I used at the time created a pretty interesting color shift, but it is still “God’s RR”.[bow]

Another E unit would be grrrreat!![C):-)]

tankertoad: “Another E unit would be grrrreat!!”

A pair of Santa Fe E-units with a passenger train in tow pass under the Route 32 Overpass as a freight with a pair of F7s passes eastbound.

More “E” units please.

Looking like a sleek racehorse!

Please show something else from the B&O.

A couple B&O hoppers on my layout

Show me somethng from the C&O

Here’s one…

…which was too modern when I backdated my layout to the late '30s era, so I re-painted and re-lettered it to fit in better…

…and I’ll even toss in another C&O car, this re-built hopper…

Wayne

Please show me another hopper car.

Hoppers under the bridge:

Please show another wood trestle or bridge.

BVLC No. 2 crosses the trestle towards Camp D:

Please keep the trestles or wood bridges coming.

A pair of my GP60s crossing the trestle near Estacada on the Mt Hood RR.

I reckon more trestles would be in order.[:O]

Not much wood in this one, but lots of woods around it…

Wayne

Show me a multi-span bridge of any type, please.

Well, it looks as if I’m the one to get us out of this dead-end, so I’ll add this unusual view of an unfinished part of my layout…

To take the picture, I crawled over the shelf under the layout, then very carefully stood up on the shelf and squeezed between the coved corner of the room and the back side of the plaster-on-screen landform shown below…

The space between the cove and the scenery is about 15" wide, so plenty of room, even though it doesn’t look like it in the second photo.

Wayne

Both photos fulfil my request for a multiple span bridge, so let’s move on.

Please show me a loaded freight car.

Shiny, new Ford trucks on their way:

The Atlantic Coast S Scalers give us this scene with trailers loaded on flatcars.

Show me another train car with a load in it or on it.
